We cannot separate loyalty and love. Both are connected to each other. When we love someone we dont want to hurt that person by betraying him or her. By backstabbing. Will you backstab someone u truly cares for?

I'm having trouble imagining a scenario where genuine love exists and loyalty doesn't.
In action, I suppose it could appear that way. But no, I think loyalty is a necessary ingredient for love.

People backstab their whole family to get their hands on more drugs.
People are disloyal to their goals all the time. Doesn't mean they don't really want them or even love them.
To be loyal is to be in accordance subconsciously with your relationship.
By that definition most people aren't loyal.
As far as cheating goes, which is a form of disloyalty, you are stopped from cheating because you literally have no desire to when you love the person you're with.
That's just my experience. I have zero desire to cheat when I'm in love. I don't even notice other girls. I'm so full of love there is no space subconsciously nor consciously for lust of other women.

"in love" to me is emotional, and thus erratic. "Love" is a commitment, and if it is true that person with not be disloyal.
