How long does your loyalty last?

I'm extremely loyal and never cheated on a girlfriend. But I eventually moved on once I realized that I didn't want to spend the rest of my life with them. Those relationships usually lasted at least a year.

Once I met the woman I wanted to marry, though, I pledged my loyalty.
My wife and I have been happily married now for almost 26 years. We trust each other completely and are 100% dedicated to each other. There is no one else I trust completely. We have each other's backs. She has proven her loyalty many times. I would never do anything to hurt her and I would defend and protect her with my life.
So my loyalty is forever.

It depends what you mean by loyal.

I am immediately suck at keeping a secret (so my mom and best friend will know but no one else). I’ve never cheated. If we’re dating I’ll flirt with your friends immediately. If we’re friends I’ll flirt with your bae immediately. I’ve never been the other girl but I do flirt with people in relationships. I’ve never slept with a friends boyfriend but I slept with my best friends talking stage. But they were in the talking stage for 4 years.

Loyalty is unpredictable in my opinion. It can come and go and peoples words and actions can shift the path to being loyal or disloyal. So i never promise to be loyal because who knows what could happen

My loyalty is solidified in that I will never cheat on a partner no matter what they do because I'm not going to drag myself down to their pathetic level.

But I will for sure leave them and toss them aside if they start doing stuff like cheating, fucking me over, etc. I'm not going to be with someone that's bad for me and doesn't take our relationship seriously.
