My boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year now and every time we see each other we always go out and have fun, which is great and all but I have always expressed my concern with us spending a lot (mostly me) and for us not to go out all the time and to save money. His reason is that we can still go out and have a good time and go the less expensive route. For me I think we should go out once or twice a month to save money. My boyfriend is worried and doesn't want us to be the boring couple and still wants to go out.
If you have 800/month in bills and he makes 10k/month have at it, if you're both on food stamps and ramen, not so much. You aren't giving enough details as to your overall financial situation.
