Long story short someone either fraudulently changed my grandfathers will or my mother stole my inheritance.. Should I just get a lawyer and do it myself or should I straight up ask my grandmother what’s going on. The last thing I want to do is come off entitled but my grandfather told me his wishes way before he was sick and after he was sick. It’s no way with the relationship him and I had all that was left to me was a watch. Even if it was only 5k or something that’s money that I really need and it’ll help me since I’m in the process of moving to Miami.

I would get a lawyer and see if you can fetch his will. You said that your grandfather verbally spoke his wishes but you have to make sure that it’s actually written on the will that, that’s what he left you. If it’s not written, that’s going to be a hard case there
You are probably SOL.
My mom is in family law and when a benefactor dies before his spouse, the wills always seem to favor the favorites of the spouse.
One of my mom's clients had her father (she was his favorite) die, but the father left the estate to his second wife who then left his money to her kids.
Good luck untangling that mess with documents and proof.
Yes, you might need a lawyer if it means that much to you.
