No it's not rude my ex told me to do it I didn't take it offencive I don't have much hairy arms the thing anoying about it is I have very sensitive skin and it makes my arms itch I shave everywhere I hate when my legs get itchy to with hairs growing back if my vagina gets a little itchy because of shaving I put vagisil cream on to stop the shaving itch away and it works great but a don't have that much hair arms after we broke up the only part I didn't shave was my arms it's my desition now

If they don't bother her then I think it's fine. Hairy arms don't really do anything and there's no reason to shave them unless she just wants smoother arms or something. If you really want to talk to her about it, at least just don't say it in a harsh way and don't try to force her or anything. If she wants to, that's fine, and if she doesn't then it's also fine. Hairy arms aren't something that'll ruin a relationship.
