On a personal level, being married made me aware of a "mental issue" I would never have known about myself. I don't think my husband is aware it exists, but I'm conscience of it.
relationships really can trigger mental health. Usually this can be from underlying issues and insecurities about oneself, which they then could project onto you. For example, if someone has abandonment issues this can surface as anxiety and insecurity about loosing you, making them act out. it doesn’t necessarily mean she’s not in the right headspace, she may just need more support and encouragement, more openness and conversation about how each of you are feeling. however, if this is too difficult to handle, it’s okay to step away, as you’re not each others therapist
