Which one are you happier with: Going for who you want vs settling?

There's a difference between "settling" and being realistic. "I only want a man over 6 feet that makes enough that I'll never have to work and has a 9 " penis and wants 6 kids", that girl should settle. Same goes for guys, these incels that will only accept movie star looking virgins are going to remain virgins themselves unless they can learn that the girl with 15 extra pounds and a sexual past is not beneath them. On the other hand, someone that's abusive, an addict, a cheater, consistently poor hygiene, rude, those people should be kicked to the curb.

Going for who I want, I had an amazing relationship which unfortunately wasn't meant to last so if I settle for less i'd just be longing for what I used to have. Wouldn't make me happy and its certainly not fair to the girl. So I plan to just look for someone I can truly love and I only ask someone to be my girlfriend once I have gotten to the point I can't see myself with someone else.

Just because a guy is attractive does not mean he will make you happy. It takes affection, security, support, respect, inclusion, reception, and intelligence to make someone satisfied in a relationship. A good looking guy that does not exhibit all these qualities is an emotional burden.
