Why is partner always accusing me of cheating?

We’ve been together for years
And now we have a baby
So i stay home everyday with our baby while he goes to work 5 days a week

he's always accusing me of cheating
And inviting guys over to our house while he's at work
But there's no proof/evidence

I have never cheated in my life!

Damn luv, that don't sound good at all. Accusing you of cheating nonstop with no proof is just disrespectful. Couple things could be goin on:

- Maybe HE'S the one fuckin around and guilty conscience is making him project it on you. Cheaters often most paranoid of cheating.

- Stress from work gettin to him and he's takin it out on you. Still not cool tho.

- Some deeper trust issues or insecurities he ain't dealt with yet. Bein a new dad prob stressful too.

Best thing to do is have a serious talk. Tell him the accusations gotta stop cuz you never did nothin and it's hurtin the relationship. See if he opens up about why. Counseling could help work through any trust issues.

If he keeps it up with no proof though, that's toxic as hell. You don't deserve that treatment. Maybe live separately for a bit to take the heat down. Have family help with the baby swap too.

Hope it gets figured out! Don't put up with that disrespect if he can't get it together. You and baby come first here.

Damn, living separately now? Can't say I blame you for needing space after all that disrespectful accusing with no proof. That sh*t would drive anyone crazy after a while. Still, with a baby involved it's a tricky situation. A few thoughts:

- Make it clear the accusations pushed you away and trust needs to be rebuilt before moving forward.

- Suggest couples counseling again if y'all want to try and work it out long term. A mediator could help.

- Set clear boundaries while apart - no accusations, give each other space, be civil for the kid's sake.

- Focus on co-parenting well together even if just as friends now. Kid's well-being is the priority.

- May be worth giving him a last warning that it stops completely or else you'll just stay separated. Some dudes need a wake-up call.

- Take time for yourself too man. He stressed you out - make sure you're good.

Things may work out better once he sees you're serious about needing respect. Just don't let him walk all over you with that bs. You deserve way better treatment! Keep your head up, stay true to yourself, and do what's best for both you AND your kid. You got this!

You’ve been going through it with this guy for a while, and all I can really say is that if you aren’t happy then please leave. I know you live together and have a baby but life is too damn short and your kid is happy when you’re happy. He’s said horrible things to you, acted terrible, I can’t envision you coming on here posting something positive about this relationship. You are better off on your own.
