What do you think about men (when living with women) spending their days in sheds, tents or cellars directly outside of their houses?

My parentd marriage got better the sooner they spent time apart in their home doing their own thing... So up until then there was a lot of bickering between them. They are living proof that distance does men and women in relationships good, keeps the marriage alive and keeps the romance alive too. I don't think we are made to be cooped up together to did everything together all the time every day. Men should go off and go do their thing women's should also go and do their own thing, seems natural to go then come back together when it's meal time or bed time... Sometimes I bet it's better to sleep seperately too. Because that's how my parents sleep and they are happy and there aren't any more arguments or bickering between them

No, it's to protect him from endless frivolent demands and from his woman deep down seeing him as another gatherer. His household will then also benefit from a greater ability of him to protect it.
