I don't mean being unemployed, it is just when this is his own preference....
+1 yI can say this: Some guy has parents help him make the payment on his 1994 Honda Civic so he can get to his video game release party at his friends basement and buy snacks on the way there - no women are probably interested.
His parents are helping him pay his student loans, gym membership, and make payments on his Land Rover while he finishes his unpaid internship as a surgeon in NYC - he’s not going to have a lot of trouble finding understanding women.
Context matters.

+1 yNo. Not sorry. I don't need a man with a lot of money. Hell, I make more than twice s much as my boyfriend does. But I do admire and appreciate that he works hard regardless

Work smart, not hard.
People really need to stop worshiping hard labor, and start appreciating cleverness.
+1 yI’m pretty sure it depends on the woman, her standards, and what she deems as the type of relationship she wants.
Personally, I wouldn’t.

+1 yI am very hard-working.
I’ve never accepted any help from my parents after the age of 20.
So, I would rather be with a man who’s as hard-working and independent as I am.
10 Reply 7.2K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I bet it would Elend on how much it is as far as many women are. concerned. If it’s from a trust fund, they’ll be highly interested.

As someone who's turning 27 this year the thought of another guy my age still chosing to be a waste of oxygen is just gross.
What would he know about the work it takes to have a relationship he doesn't know what work even means.
If that's you do yourself a favor and run316 Reply- +1 y
Are you saying people don't get gold stars for trying at 27? Can someone start a social movement that addresses the detrimental stresses that come with having to work just like everybody else? I'm sure we can get a good amount of people behind this, as it would decrease stress, thus negativity in the world.

i'm not a communist, i could never be a communist either. ido believepeople should earn what they deserve from their hard work, what i don't believe is in order to be a valued human being a job is not the criteria, your job if not prostution is no ones business. your job doesn't decide your value.

@aceleon what's the possibility you marry a prostitute? In the idealistic perspective that we aren't defined or valued by our profession or amount of funds kept in our banks...
- +1 y
@Wood3nWhal3 i don't get what you are asking here, but no i'm not even being friends with a prostitude let alone enter a relationship LET ALONE MARRY ONE job is another thing DİGNİTY is another, i don't have any business with someone who doesn't know how to keep her legs closed, also i'm not idealistic either neither a pragmatist everything isgood on small doses, no need for over-dose.
- +1 y
@aceleon I don't think we disagree that much. I never said someone's job should decide their value. A McDonald's worker is a valuable person same as a lawyer.
What I said, and do maintain however, is that a laziness IS something to judge people with. And if you're not doing anything at all at an age where you should have been autonomous a while ago then yes you are a person of lower value and would make for a bad partner to date. Who wants a freeloader in their lives? Nobody. - +1 y
Oh waw I did not expect that.
And yes you are right it gets lonely living alone.
But at the end of the day hiding from your inner loneliness by surrounding yourself with people who don't even feel like they should be there isn't fixing the problem it's just a patch job.
I love my parents to death and I too am very lonely but living with them does not feel like a long term solution. The solution would be to face my loneliness, learn to love my alone time and surround myself with people that are meant to be on my path (not in a spiritual way) but more like a logical progression into adulthood. - +1 y
last part was senseless. people who aremeant to be on my path? so my parents are not meant to be with me? also who can those persons be? friends maybe but i think you more or less tried to hint a woman but sorry mate i'm not doing that shit, i can have female friends but i ABSOLUTLY don't want a relationship until i die no seriously i got stabbed once and i would still prefer to be stabbed again instead of going through that shit, aside from being a living nightmare, a relationship has nothing worthy in it for me to accept the burden that will come with it and considerin i have no interest in having a woman in my life, i don't see any reason to get myself into a place where i have no one, embracing the loneliness sounds cool and flashy but it is just that, flashy but empty words, you probably think it will amke you stronger but from this point on i don't want any more power than i already got through the life i led until now, being a strong person didn't make me happier and the power i got is eccentially useless since ihave no dreams or ambitions, i just continue living and do things that makes me feel good, the strenght, the motivation or any other thing has no meaning or use for me anymore, dicipline and strenght is meaningless if the person has no ''desires'' it is aimless. so by proximity the idea of progression into adulthood is also pointless, as long as i have the things i need for survival and can keep myself entertained becoming an adult or staying as a child has no hold over me, so ypur idea of progression into adulthood has nothingto offer to me aside from being less happy then i am but i'm gaining absolutly nothing from it as far as i can see.
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yI dealt with this from my ex back in 2005 it was so repulsive I couldn't stand it. She kept asking her parents for money even though she was 25 at the time old enough to get a job, but when I got laid off of my job she actually had the nerve to bitch her head off about me not working when I pointed out to her in front of her mom when was the last time you had a job oh that's right never which she tried saying I babysit my neice at which point I told her an actual job where you sign a w2 form and receive an actual paycheck. After that her mom and dad forced her to get a job and she hated me ever since

Opinion Owner+1 yI've also dealt with women who had dead end jobs at cheap burger joints and it was disgusting and repulsive they didn't even have a pot to piss in all they were was a bunch of can kickers
I've dealt with women who worked in retail and some had the bitchiest personalities which was also repulsive coming from a bunch of can kickers who couldn't afford a pot to piss in
Opinion Owner+1 yFinding a woman with a good career was rare it does happen but those type of women are rare and hard to find

+1 yIt depends the reason why. Is he starting a business? Has he shown that he is independent in spite of this privilege and working hard in other areas. Is he just in a rut. I wouldn't arbitrarily exclude them, no.

When starting a business, you want to work smart, not hard.

I dont really care as long as he can pay for himself:)
