Was misandry the reason why mgtow and redpill exist?

reasons why i'm asking. the hatred against men and boys (misandry) is been justified and normalized, compare to the hatred against women and girls (misogyny) is that why redpill and mgtow exist because of misandry, or something else?

No or at least I don´t think that´s all there is I would say that guys that go for mgtow is because they don´t see why they should spend effort dating. In other words they don´t see value in it. The problem in modern days is that due to relativism there is nothing inherently valueable unless you give it value.
Misandry is a part of the problem but I think few guys face an open hatred but rather see forms where they are belittled or feel controlled as misandry because the women in their life don´t consider the guy trustworthy and interrupt them doing things so guys feel controlled.

If you’re really interested you should read the book “The Myth of Male Power.” It started the mgtow movement (unintentionally.) The writer was a psychologist who noticed that men had serious social problems and issues stemming from being men (the same way feminists saw that women suffered in society from being women and not having certain rights.) For example men could lose custody of their kids easily, lose a lot of money in divorce, men are WAY more likely to die at work, like 99.9% of work deaths are men, etc. But when he tried to talk about these issues he was shunned from the academic community. He felt that feminists had taken over the space and were not really furthering equality for both sexes. Men were vilified for all sociosexual problems even though men make sacrifices and have problems too. In my opinion the writer wouldn’t be happy with current anti-woman mgtow movement because he was a kind person at heart who respected both sexes.

No, I don't think that's the case at all. I think that the dating environment has changed dramatically, and that it favors the female much more than in the past. As men, we must work harder to be successful with women, and I think that ultimately, this will be a very positive development for both sides.

Societal misandry is a big part of it, but there is more to it. Most men these days are told to be nice to women and end up getting rejected/friend-zoned by women and see Chad the asshole and Tyrone the drug dealer getting laid often, when they try to learn why that is they find the Red Pill. Another thing that leads men to it is losing their families and everything they have worked for in a divorce: a woman can cheat on her husband, get pregnant with the other guy's kid, then divorce him, take half his assets, and get alimony and child support on top of that. Men are realizing that the society they built has turned on them and the Red Pill is their way of fighting back!

That, and a corrupt sexist justice system that is heavily biased against men and has harmed them for generations while women NEVER do anything to help men legally by getting any of the unfair justice practices and laws changed.

Yeah the Red pill, and MGTOW movement is a result of radical feminism and it's ever expanding grip on society.. It's why I initially gravitated to Red Pill content.. The vilifying of men to where basically we are seen as defective women instead of people who suffered throughout history together, and was designed to be in it together..
