Long distance is making me crazy, advice?

I have a great guy. I am not looking for an excuse to leave him. But the long distance is driving me crazy. It is the middle of the work day, and there are a zillion things I need to do, but I keep looking at my email, Facebook, and phone messages. I know he isn't going to send a message... it's the middle of the work day. But I keep checking anyway. I just want to be with him so badly, that I keep looking for him in those places. Isn't that crazy. I swear I am going nuts. I just want to be with him.

I already talk to him a lot, and we see each other as much as our finances will allow. I guess I am just looking for advice on how to handle this more gracefully than I am right now.

Long distance is very difficult and it takes some time to get in to the groove of being in one. Me and my boyfriend are in a long distance relationship now and it took us bit to get used to it. We talk as much as we can and it is normal to want to talk to them more than you can because you miss being with them so much. Me and my boyfriend talk everyday before work after work and in the evening that may sound like a bit much but it helps keep our relationship strong. Keep your chin up and don't let yourself go crazy, Fate has it's way of working things out in the end :)

We have been in a long distance relationship for a year. I think that what is especially hard about it right now is that we were supposed to be together last month. But now it is looking like it might be another two years until we are together. And we are both feeling so depressed by it right now that whenever we talk to each other it just makes us feel more lonely. We'll get through it. But this period is no fun. We'll go on a trip to California at the end of the month though, so that will help

The same with me! I love him so much but I hate wen he dusnt message bak even wen I no he can't there are some days better than others but you hav to keep yourself occupied...i get distracted for a little wile and it makes me feel less needy hope this helps and if you find something better please tell me

I know what you are saying from experience. Put a nice pic of him at your work and couple of things that remind you of him. And whenever you need look at him or pick the other things and get a good smile from it. It'll be better than having to look for a connection from him through text etc... That aren't there at these moments.

Thanks, I think we will make it. We love each other very much. I can't imagine us not being together. He is a very good man, and I love him deeply.

long distance is always a bad idea
