Girlfriend puts her friends before me?

My girlfriend is usually clingy and loving with me. BUT, i noticed that if her friends ask her to hang out and I ask her to hang out, she'll choose them over me. I call this selective clinginess, essentially she is only clingy with me when she doesn't have anyone else to cling to.

This would be fine but the thing is, i also like her a lot and want to see her all the time too.

I got annoyed at her this week when I made plans with her only to cancel on me for her friends. Instead of actually apologising she said "im sorry you feel that way".

I've realised throughout the relationship that I spoiled her with my time and affection to the point where she is now accustomed to me always being available for her. However, I have to fight for the leftover scraps for when her friends and family are unavailable, thats the only times she'll actually wanna see me.

How would you guys approach this situation? I've decided to withhold my availabilities from now on and stop being so available. I hope that over time she will begin to respect my time more.

Make yourself less available? No offense something is telling me you both hang out too much and it’s to the point where she values you asking her to hang out less because you are always wanting to hang out. She deserves her own life just as much as you do.

Maybe instead of pouting and giving her the silent treatment in the hopes that she’ll notice and come around, maybe you can just talk to her instead? Have an honest, 5-minute conversation about your feelings instead of playing toxic games like it isn’t just going to make her leave you alone and distance herself from you even more
