I think it’s a combination of those loyal to the traditions family and beliefs trying to stick with that, and then those who are more modern and may be cynical about romance or want to just do wild/experimental stuff, then they’d also be bad mouthing love/romance and marriage (combined).

So tradition/religion and modern perceptions.

“Youngsters” in India actually want love and want a romance to blossom though they are against the culture of arranged marriage that their culture pushes upon them without alternative which has led to multiple women turning down proposals from guys since they want to blossom with good career, great education, independence, healthy mindset before settling down to raise a family.

I’ve talked to multiple women from India and have seen this perspective time n time again, not one young Indian woman supports this loop of toxic affairs, they want to determine their own future which includes their life mates. I respect them and stand for them also speak up for them! Thank you very much.

Probably due to them watching videos from conservative badmouthing love marriages, in the English speaking YouTube I seen a growth of conservatives talking negative against woman who are not virgins upon marriage.


So I assume the same is happening in India.

I would assume because it goes against tradition and this current generation is trying to hold to traditions

I'm not against arrange marriages, per se, but it's definitely ridiculous to assume that if a married couple has problems, they probably married out of love and not family traditions... I mean, doesn't every relationship has its up and downs?

Unfortunately, in most countries today, marriages of logic and money are seen, not marriages of love. This is sad situation.
