Can waiting too much for someone make someone stop liking or loving them?

Whether it's keeping them in the friendzone, dating them but not making it official or keeping them at girlfriend and girlfriend for too long and no kids nor marriage... can that alone make anyone stop liking them or even love them to the point you run out of feeling for them?

Then by the time the other person is finally ready, the other person that waited too long isn't interest anymore and just feels nothing.

Yes, a guy I seriously was in love with kept saying he "loved me" and wanted something with me but  not right now .. So even though I wanted to wait it out and was still super in love I dropped it. Since if he really wanted me he wouldn't make me wait while he fucks anybody and everybody else (having a hoe phase). It took me 3 years to get over but I got over it. I now realized how much of a waste of time it was because clearly I meant nothing to him, since I never heard from him again lol. Glad I didn't sleep with him because he was a waste man.

If you wait too long for a person they take you for granted and presume they can do whatever they want with you.

Set your standards up clearly very early on so they know what you consider rude or unacceptable (like keeping you waiting).

I think when you with somebody or you want to be with somebody and you both agree upon it then you make that relationship the best you've ever made anything because you don't want one moment to be wasted on what if or any games of any sort any type be into the relationship all the way in or don't do it at all

I mean time goes by so fast why waste one minute and playing the game or trying to figure things out become that moment live that moment and take on that moment no matter what happens and make those moments count

It depends on the ignorance level of the person you're seeing. if you have a set stage for going further stick to it. giving in just makes you look weak and makes the other person think they can talk you into anything which is stupid.

but if they're ignorant enough and persistent enough to keep asking after you done said no dump their. sorry but they're not worth your time seeing how the only thing on their mind is getting in your pants.

Yes guys don’t make it offical with me, they act like a boyfriend and want see me but refuse make it offical. It makes me depresed and hallow. The bliss of finally having a first boyfriend in my head all becomes destoyed, my dreams ruined.

There is a point at which a person discovers self respect, yes. And then all bets are off.

I was attracted to a woman for over a yr. She wasn't having it. But she liked my attention so she breadcrumbed me to keep me chasing. Finally something happened that separated our interaction for a few months. And that gave me time to break from her siren song. Then when she came back it was a new ball game. She didn't understand why I wasn't taking her bait. Now the tables turned as she tried harder and harder to get my attention. And this continued as she eventually started stalking me. She did that for two years before finally throwing in the towel.

yes, i waited close to 2 years but the person just got more rude towards me so i gave up. applies to friends too, honestly, i had a friend who got increasingly rude towards me the more i gave in, and i only give in because they are my friend but it will all be taken for granted.

my take is that it will only work out if you wait with boundaries and not give in to everything to make the person like you.

Yes, if I liked a girl or I had a girlfriend, I care about them and love them as time goes on but if I have a girl tell me she doesn’t want more or she doesn’t feel that she’s at that level then i’m starting to recruit and scout other girls since I know the investment isn’t going to go up in value.
