It's not about her encouraging me. Would you want to go out with a guy that asked 3 other girs before you? Well I don't want to go out with a woman that asked/showed interest in 3 other guys before me. We're talking about a girlfriend not just a friend here. One, not one of many. She doesn't have to ask me out. But she does have to make me feel like a choice not an option. This is something most women don't do unless they're super interested. This generally only happens if I'm with a woman for a very extended period of time to get to know me. Because I am not good at selling myself (my sister's are always saying that). I think a good product sells itself. But I think most women have so many options most never even see me unless something forces them to see me. And why would I want to ask out a woman who never even looks at me? That's just asking for rejection. And as I've said said before on here. Guys aren't afraid of rejection (a lot of women oversimplify it by just making the ruling they are). But a woman has to be worth the rejection. A woman has to make a guy at least feel like it's worth taking that chance. And I've simply seen enough failure that "love" outside of familial love really isn't in my vocabulary anymore.

It is nice if the other person makes the move so you know your feelings are reciprocated. Even if they don't ask me out, it is nice of they are giving signals so it's a pretty safe bet they will agree to a date.
