Husband taking trips to see friends and family without me, has he had enough of me?

My husband has driven hours today to visit a friend , and is staying with him for 4 days.

Next week he’ll be going abroad alone to visit family.

I have a 4 hour commute to work so don’t see him a lot during the weekdays. I feel kind of abandoned. Am I wrong to feel this?

Your feelings are fair. What you need to figure out is the "why" of it all. Is he avoiding you because you fight all the time? Are you not giving something he needs? Is he cheating or trying to cheat? Is he slow rolling a divorce? Does he just miss his friends and family? Something else? The list of possibilities is long, so it would be great if he was willing to have open communication with you about it. Don't accuse him of anything I just wrote. They were just random examples. Be sure to make him feel like he can be honest and that you're sincerely interested in improving the relationship. If he shuts it down, it might be a good sign to assume some negative stuff.

Talk to him, if it was done on purpose he will most likely hint it, you should be able to read his intentions by the way he chooses to communicate with you and your confrontation on what he did, if he seems genuine on just meeting with people he cares about then maybe it's just hat
