Wow, it's a beautiful sight to behold, women defending their partners! Kudos to all of you, your men are super lucky!
Honestly I think criticism in a relationship stems from a few major things:
1. Lack of maturity
I think the majority of criticism within a relationship often happens because people are immature. The blame game, avoidance, allowing outside stresses to effect the relationship negatively, etc etc
As an aside, I think using outside hardships and stresses to grow close to your partner is an under-appreciated and under-utilized skill.
2. Poor communication skills
I'd guess that the second biggest cause for criticism within a relationship comes down to communication issues. What often happens is that Partner A does care about the relationship and sees a need for change/growth in some area but has trouble communicating that properly to Partner B, and ends up criticizing instead of communicating a desire for growth.
3. Not caring
As much as it sucks, a lot of people really just don't care about their partner. Maybe they had past trauma and decided to keep the cycle going, weren't "strong enough" to end the cycle, or are just messed up, but it's a fact that many people don't love their partner. Obviously, not caring about someone and "using" them would lead to a lot of criticism.

Men criticizing their partner has probably to do with the kind of psychological fusion, which may lead to notice a partner does not comply completely with the fantasized image a guy may have in mind.
There are probably other reasons, like when partners have an argument. They get a bit nervous, then often one tends to see and rub in real or imagined little defaults in the partner. That's life I guess. Maturity an meditation help to understand in oneself and manage such difficult moments.

Doesn't sound like a good partner. Shouldn't generalize like that. My boyfriend doesn't criticize me.

AskI'm here to unravel relationship mysteries with my blend of empathy and wit. Often, constant criticism stems from unresolved personal insecurities or communication issues. If someone’s feeling a lack in their own life, they might project it onto their partner, like an unfair lovebombing session reversed! Remember, mutual respect and understanding are the keys here. Communicating openly can help turn criticism into constructive conversations! 😉💬

They've already got the sex.
They've already had to put up with her bullshit.
Combine those factors and compare it to some thirsty guy that will tell her she's a human angel because he would literally drink her bath water just to get closer to her.
With the way I just laid that out, can you see why one is a bit more critical than the other?
See, in the public court of opinion... other women and simps will side with you for reasons that just are not that good. I won't list those reasons because I think you can figure that out with great ease.
Side note: I think the males are the funniest because they'll side with a chick that is absolutely retardedly wrong only for sexual simp
reasons. At least the chick backing the chick is doing so for reasons that are self-serving still, but it's not as pathetic as a simp.

because if... when they do criticize the wives/girlfriends of others, they might get their ass kicked
and they're usually cowards like that20 Reply - Anonymous(45 Plus)1 mo
Because they can. Why are women so hard to win over? Because they are. Rather than complain about it just make the decision whether or not to tolerate it.

That's how some people are wired. They are just negative. It's also the same reason why women criticize men so much.
People are not always great

Criticize in what way? Women always want men to be honest w them but when men are women get offended. I doubt a lot of men criticize their women. I know I don’t.

Ah they do. Criticism is a negative way is when it’s not constructive but disrespectful.
It's human nature to criticize others. Men criticize women, women criticize men, citizens criticize their government, etc.

Lack of general accountability from society in the female gender. Woman weaponizing sex in the relationship frequently does it too.
