He says something negative then when I comment he gets defensive of her … always about what mood she was in that day or what mood ahe will be in next week. She’s nice today a bitch next week.. she took the son on his paper round with him and kept half the money for herself which is ridiculous in my opinion and he said she did that and it was wrong then when I mentioned it he justified it ! How?

If his kid is still in the single digits then they most likely still have something going on. Either that or he still has love for her. I dated a guy on and off for 4 years, when I met him he had a 5 year old son with a woman he swore up and down he hated. He’d slander her on social media, they’d argue back and forth, I really believed he loathed her. Yet the last time we got back together, he broke the news she was pregnant again and that was the end of us. I’ve moved on since then, in a whole new relationship but I’ll always remember my naïveté for ignoring those red flags out of love.
