Anonymous(30-35)1 yA healthy marriage benefits both partners. But the reality is that half of marriages end in divorce, women initiate 80% of them, and many that don't divorce are unhappy.
Studies have shown married men live longer, but those studies are seriously flawed. On order to know how long someone will live, you have to wait until they die. That means those studies were based on older men who were married decades ago when marriages was very different and women were better human beings. If the same study is done 40 years from now and looked at men getting married today, the results would be very different.
Also, those studies group divorced men in the unmarried category. That means all those men whose wives divorced them and destroyed their lives are significantly skewing the results.

@Anonymous those are female benefits, I'm asking about what are the benefits for men.
1 yDepends on who you marry and if they embrace the title of wife.

@gwendoline What would be the benefits?
- 1 y
Love, companionship, friendship, children, happiness, purpose certainly sex
- 1 y
@gwendoline For men those are female benefits. Women need companionship, and friendship. Women are validated by children, happiness is intangible, men must have purpose to even get a women, and you don't need to be married to have sex, I would say married men probably get laid less than single men.
- 1 y
Married men definitely have more sex than most single men if you work the numbers.
Having a family and a wife is a purpose.
Women are not validated by children they are fulfilled.
Married men with kids thrive. - 1 y
@gwendoline Well let's think about it logically vs emotionally. A married man is at the mercy of having sex w/ one women when she feels like it. A single man can have sex w/ as many women as he chooses whenever he wants. Men value quantity, so having sex w/ the same women over and over isn't as relevant as the ability to bang multiple women. Plenty of men are fanous for being able to attract multiple women, none for being married to one. Women are validated by children, hence why there are exponentially more "mom's" groups than fathers. A man is judges by the resources he creates for the world, a women is judged by the kids she raises.
- 1 y
I hate to say but I have sex with my husband whenever he wants, many women do, it's not really a big deal and most men are easy pleased.
Plenty of men can attract multiple women, it's no big deal but when they love a woman no other will do.
Mom's groups help each other, especially in the early days after giving birth and most fathers are working to support their children and partner.
In what way does a man create resources?
Believe me no woman gets pregnant & gives birth so she can feel "validated". The only validation a wife needs is that her husband values all she does for him. - 1 y
@gwendoline I think I see your confusion. You having sex w/ your husband benifits you, not him as women seek security from one partner, not men. Men seek quantity. If you were to say that your husband currently has multiple women he has sex w/ then that would highlight his value. Having sex w/ the same women over and over again does not increase value in the eyes of other HV men which is all that matters. Actually only a small percentage of men are able to attract multiple women, u believe differently because you're only able to see your perspective, which is another reason why listen to women about relationships is a mistake. Like most women your using an anecdotal example to answer a general question. Everything you use including the ability to have this conversation is created by a man, the fact that u don't understand this only validates my point. All women receive validation from getting pregnant as you already highlighted by the fact that there are groups specifically designed for them and that you already claimed that children are the value women provide men.

A man who is unfaithful has no value. Very few women see value in a man like that, only women with low morals that will eventually move on as soon as they find something better.
- 1 y
@gwendoline As long as he protects and provides a man is being faithful as that is his job. A woman's job is to implement sexual fedility. Most women see value in men that have multiple women which is why most HV men have multiple women. "Low Morales" is simply shaming language used by women to justify facts they don't like.
- 1 y
No they don't. The women that see value in that are women who can't be faithful or are willing to be someone's mistress. It's not shaming language, it's shameful behaviour
- 1 y
@gwendoline Obviously they do or we wouldn't have a history of famous men known for having multiple women. A great example is Kobe Bryant who went on national television and admitted to cheating on his wife. She was smart, and stayed with him. If the behavior is so s
"Shameful" why did the build a statue of him? - 1 y
Yes he gave her a $4million dollar engagement ring after helped win a rape case, there's a reason kobe's family didn't attend their wedding. In 2011 she filed for divorce when Kobe was worth$50 million, when kobe died he was worth $600 million. It's clear she was going to divorce him at some stage get half his money, child support and alimony when is playing days were over. Kobe met his wife at 17 when she was appearing rap music videos, well we know what happens there.
- 1 y
@gwendoline Kobe's been estranged from his father and mother much longer than 2011. I know his sister. Also Vanessa Bryant never once filed for divorce, including after he retired. This is the cases of you believing what you want to believe vs the facts. Also according to you this is supposed to lower his value if that is true why did they build a statue and mural of him?
- 1 y
Kobe was estranged the day he married his wife because they knew.
In December 2011, Vanessa filed for divorce from Kobe, citing irreconcilable differences and sparked speculation about the possible distribution of assets in a divorce. Was in the papers way back. Also other men felt safe enough to flirt with kobe's wife. There are the rumours that she cheated on Kobe with an ex and even let the guy drive kobe's car. Then there was the bullying and harassment of a female employee. Even her own mother has sued her. - 1 y
@gwendoline I think I see your confusion. Kobe was estranged from his parents his parents b4 2011 and Vanesa Bryant never filed for divorce. Even if she did she never went through with it. As you are proving a rumor isn't the same as a fact. A fact is Kobe went on TV admitted to cheating on his wife and is still considered a legend. Why do you think they built statues to him?
- 1 y
Kobe is a legend to who? It's well documented that Vannessa Bryant filed for divorce as is the fact that when he got in trouble for that rape he had to buy his wife a $4 million engagement ring to stop her leaving him. She also famously spoke out about the NBA culture of tomcating. So what I'm saying to you that despite what you see as Kobe's high status he wasn't able to get away with cheating and had to as his wife wore the pants in the relationship. Plus Kobe was at the Diddy parties so cheating with other women may not have been the problem
- 1 y
@gwendoline Your reluctance to answer the question regarding his statue, proves he's a legend to millions. What "trouble"? He went on to have one of the greatest Careers anyone's had at their jobs ever. Um he cheated on her on national TV and kept banging random chick to the die he died, as would any HV man. His wife stood by and accepted it like any smart woman would. How does this highlight a benefit of marriage to men? Or are you saying the benefit is getting to have as many women as you want like Kobe?
- 1 y
He's a legend to millions of men who willingly wear another man's name on their back. Think on that.
She knew he was cheating on her she didn't care because she didn't care about him, not even when he was getting bent over at the Diddy parties. He was 40 when he died, career over, she would have walked away with half and child support. - 1 y
@gwendoline Not much to think about, it's just one of several examples that prove that men having multiple women is a natural byproduct of being a HV man.
- 1 y
How many men did Kobe's wife have? Any woman can have multiple partners, does that make her a HV woman?
- 1 y
@gwendoline Excellent question and don't be embarrassed that you don't know this. If "any women" can have multiple partners than having multiple partners wouldn't make her HV. Conversly because men must provide value in order to get a woman a man that can have multiple women is by definition High Value.
- 1 y
I will give you an example suck as Jackie Kennedy. JFK was a high value man who womaniser. Jackie Kennedy while married to JFK was seen as a high status woman and had many affairs while married to JFK, after his death many high status men slept with her including two of of JFKs brothers. When JFK had finished being president she would have left him for someone like Aristotle Onanassis the man she eventually got remarried too. There's always a bigger fish.
- 1 y
@gwendoline I'm not sure what this is supposed to be an example off. Jackie Kennedy is only relevant because of first her father than her husband. Also you do realize your simply providing another example, that proves that HV men are respected for having multiple women?
- 1 y
Yet Jackie Kennedy had and was pursued by multiple men.
- 1 y
@gwendoline Correct, just like every women that has ever existed on the planet. What makes her relevant is that she was fortunate to retain a HV man.
- 1 y
Well how high value can these men be if they can't keep their wives satisfied?

1 yIt doesn't have any benefits for men. People just have to make it seem like it does so that men keep asking women to marry them. Marriage only benefits women since divorce also only benefits women.

@anonymous Interesting one. Are you aware you aware you can get similar ones if not better simply by opening a business?
Opinion Owner1 yIt has been shown physical is needed by human beings not just sex, but feeling they are loved. That helps some men become more productive and feel more positive about life. They are less likely to become a red-piller listening to anderw tate to cope with their feelings. You won't die from social isolation and just be in a better mode overall if the person you are with is loving and supporting.
