A lot of that narrative was repetitious. It could have been written better. But I could relate to a lot of it.

I was never one to proclaim love to girlfriends because, for me, love meant forever. It meant "I want to marry you." And it took me a long time to be sure I wanted that.
I didn't treat infatuation like love.

I liked some of the quotes:
"Love isn't just a feeling. It's a commitment, responsibility and privilege."
"He's insuring that his feelings aren't fleeting, that they are built on a foundation strong enough to weather the challenges of life."
