My girlfriend is self-centered. What should I do?

To be honest, I write down everything my girlfriend likes, but she doesn't remember anything I love. I asked her what is she going to give me for Father's Day as a joke, and she replied with an attitude she didn't know. She's also boring and never knows what she wants to do but gets mad when I ask her what she likes doing. She makes everything about her but she never does anything nice for me. She always gets mad about money when neither I nor her family have it. I like her, but I'm getting sick of her not caring about me. She's just boring. What should I do?

hey! I had a friend like this and their mindset isn’t pretty at all. It’s actually all about them and you have some type of insecurity that has drawn you into this. Like for example, my friend who only cared about herself and attracted men who wanted validation. I know this is not what you wanted to hear but I think you may have some work to do so that you can stop attracting narcissist like her. You deserve someone that cares about you and I was in your position once with a friend like this. She had no loyalty towards me and everything was all about her and it started just like how you’re describing & it got worse overtime and I don’t want you to feel how I felt when I realized I had to leave and I had to see what I really was to her. For example, she just ended up getting another friend with a car because that’s all I was. I tried to bring up the fact that she wasn’t a good friend and all she cared about was herself, but she turned the conversation into things that I did wrong. Which I didn’t do anything, but that’s how women like her think. It’s just my take. I feel like I’ve been here before and I wish somebody would have told me this. Figure out why you are with her & what she represents to you and work on it so you’ll never have to go through this again. just keep asking yourself why until it gets super super simple and then when you can’t answer the why question anymore, that’s your answer.

Spend your time on trying to find a good person instead of letting her belittle you. Have self respect if she can't respect you. Also, it's clear that she has a lot of contempt for you.
