If you feel like you've found found your soulmate, but you are too young to commit to marriage, would you ever open your relationship?

I mean, if you feel like she/he is the one, and you don't want to lose her/him, but both of you still feel like you should experiment more before committing to marriage, what would you do?

Would you ever try to open your relationship? Would you ever bring up into conversation a threesome or even swinging (changing partners)?

How would you react if your partner would bring this up? Would you discuss options, or would you break up?

If you would break up, in order for both of you to be able to experiment with other people, would you want to still be friends? Later in life, if the situation is right, and when both of you would be looking for marriage, would you ever get back together (if wanting experimentation was the only reason you broke up a long time ago)?

Ok, so I am polyamorous, and I still say no to this idea. You don't need more experience before getting with the right one nor do you jump into swinging or threesomes on a whim.

You need a lot of trust with your partner to do something like that. Way too often, one partner will suggest it because they think it will give them a hall pass and when their partner starts to find more/serious opportunities, they suddenly want to stop or become ultra jealous. It's a recipe for disaster unless you have built up a lot of trust with a partner.

We have been together between marriage and dating for over 20 years. How it came about is I was questioning my sexuality and my wife told me to go explore it. She hasn't dated anyone since then but I have a boyfriend now and we all live together. She and he are friends. It works for us.

Doesn't mean it will work for everyone and I certainly wouldn't suggest it before even going into a relationship very often unless you both go in knowing you're into that kind of thing.
