My boyfriend said I was gross because I didn’t shave my body hair in some time is this ok?

So I recently decided to stop shaving because I always get ingrown hair and nicks and overall I feel like I got a beard wherever I shave so I called this place for a wax appointment and they said my hair was too short when I described it and to grow up until it was long enough to pinch in between finger or at least an inch and half long so I decided to let it grow like everywhere I’m a hairy girl so I don't know I just didn’t think my boyfriend would be grossed out so bad like even making faces? I personally don’t mind body hair only reason I choose to remove is because my skin is sensitive and when I have a lot of hair going on it gets super itchy like a rash and uncomfortable so he sees me naked and says you have a great body so why not take care of yourself like u have bad hygiene like I always get compliments I smell good including from him so I don't know what that was about he had like a whining tone saying I’m so gross because I’m hairy atm and I said I was going to get waxed and he’s like u have been saying that just go get lasered and he usually calls me names and jokingly makes fun of me I don't know I love him I think he loves me too it’s been over 2 years we’re together and I wanna be with him but I don't know was I overreacting when I almost cried and feel insecure to the point where other guys say I’m very pretty or wanna take me out I ofc say no I’m in a relationship but I’m like if they think I’m pretty why doesn’t my own boyfriend lmk that and he says oh u already know so I don’t gotta say it and I’m sorry I’m venting but I have have had girls even say they love my nose it’s like ski slope not a button nose but I think it’s perfect for my face and he’s like why’s ur nose so big like bro wtf I keep telling him to stop all this but he won’t and I don't know how to handle it
