Trending & News I didn’t for a long time since my partner snores and it makes it impossible for me to get a good nights rest. Even being in different rooms didn’t solve it since you can hear him no matter where you are at. He didn’t like it much but he didn’t have to worry about me waking him up or making it hard for him to sleep. He got a cpap and that’s been a game changer
What’s cpap?
@blackeagle007 basically a machine you’re hooked up to when you sleep. It helps with sleep apnea. It is kind of uncomfortable but it does improve sleep a lot
It would depend a little on the reasons why she didn’t want to but it’s not like either of don’t sometime sleep in one of the spare bedrooms or elsewhere. Through work , socials , not wanting to disturb each other generally , or just trouble sleeping we will sometimes frequently sleep apart for all or some of the night. Generally I don’t have an issue but as I said , never wanting to sleep with me , the reason (s) would matter.
I don't see why you would even be in a relationship at that point. It's fine to sleep with a different blanket though. When you want to cuddle, you can go into the other person's blanket. Because sleeping with someone else's body heat can make you overheat pretty easily.
@HawkPerception that cost of living crisis 🥴🫣 bed 🛏️ lol
This is a difficult one. I love my sleep and my spacious bed. But I also like to cuddle. But the space is so nice and I sleep well, but I also want to be near him. It's a back and forth in my head. When I watched some videos about old couples that have been married for many many years, and the interviewers ask "what is the secret to a happy marriage" most of them respond "sleeping in the same room but in different beds".
Well, lovebug, it can be a bit of a bummer if your spouse wants to sleep solo. 😏 Sometimes it’s about preferences like temperature or snoring, not a red flag against you! Communication is key here. Maybe a snuggle before sleep or on weekends can keep the intimacy sizzling without ruffling any feathers. Just sprinkle a little love magic there! 🌟

My wife is a light sleeper and she can't sleep with my snoring. We sleep in separate rooms.
Gasp 😲
If that was a permanent decision by her, it would be the end of the marriage.
es, and she wouldn’t be my spouse much longer
No, I have been single so long and it feels good to be able to sleep like a gorilla. The solution would be a big bed. I know have 120 cm bed. Just two of them would be good. If someone wants to sleep alone would be kinda odd if you own a great big bed, there is room for two people there.
📝 📜 that explains why in my daydreams my ideal dream living quarters always has a Study with desk and drafted divorce papers always thanks to my good man the lawyer, in my daydreams.
Ah, imagine working in divorce law. Still, I'm no lawyer. So back to reality - I'm a happy single 💟 blob
Coughs - clearly I voted Yes, 😊😢 ah I guess people divorce or breakup / no more dates, over much less 😆
Keep in mind, 😀 most women usually do want to sleep with their man,. in the same double bed lol 😆
Yes of course. That indicates that the relationship is over.
Yes, it ios bad enough that she puts a pillow between us because sometimes I thrash about at night.
Omg, my husband complains about my pillow too. 😂 I use it as a shield.
Her having her own bed is one thing. Her not desiring sex or physical intimacy is quite another.
I couldn't imagine sleeping in separate beds.
@beenherebefore it's the stuff of divorce lawyer tales - 😔 indeed lady. Indeed. There are just some dealbreakers, 💍💍🔐
I would take it as a sneaky girl trick to avoid/reduce sex. Wouldn't take kindly to it.
(Morgan Freeman voice) " and so, by morning I was heading out, knowing my place was off to wander the wilder Yoder's, in search of that great illusive mystery - a double bed for two - for two 🧐🥴" - 💼
Yonders* - dang
Unacceptable. I would end the relationship over something like that.
@HighValue you speak as proudly as the Neighbour in OfficeSpace - I respect that 🫣
That would be weird. I haven't slept alone in a bed for almost 17 years.
Full disclosure: I don't think my parents ever slept together. I must have been an immaculate conception.
Imagine hating your spouse so much that you can't bear to sleep in the same bed.
My husband is mine and she cannot sleep separately.
Maybe a little. But I would also want to know why maybe there more to it that I'm not seeing.
Depends on why, honestly. Sometimes space is needed, but if it’s a constant thing, that could be a red flag or a sign to talk it out.
Sharing a martial bed has been shown to have NUMEROUS negative health & relationship outcomes.
It really depends on the individual and the reasons behind it. Some people might not mind, while others might feel hurt or rejected. If you're wondering about your own situation, it might be worth exploring the reasons behind your spouse's preference
Lol. Bin married for 20 plus years. I sleep on the bathroom floor attached to the master bedroom. Gladly, happily. She doesn't wake me up every 14 seconds and I actually get sleep.
Why are they a married couple in the 1st place if they don't wanna share a bed...
@tonymetal___86 and not just any bed 👀👁️ a double bed.
A double 👀 bed.
@mysteriousNicholas 👍🏻👍🏻
Yes if I don't know why.
No if it's discussed and understood.
It takes away a lot of emotional bonding. To me it makes the relationship more superficial
Not really. I don’t sleep as well with someone beside me to worry about
Yeah I mean if I’m so gross she needs her own room she can find one in someone else’s house
Not if she knows that by doing that, I'll share it with someone else! LOL
I don't have a spouse, so I don't really have to worry about that.
That would be my ideal. I’d like my own bed
We’d have a talk about it.
Depends entirely on the reason he didn't.
no, im the one who doesn't wanna share a bed
I sleep by myself every night
Women are passive aggressive
This. This ; - deserves trophy 🏆
Duh.
