Should I let my friend who cheated on his disabled wife move in?

So a long time friend of mine has been with his wife for 11 years. She's in a wheelchair and he takes care of her. Long story short I guess he gives him no affection so he was talking to other girls on tik tok. His daughter stole his phone and showed his wife. I guess his family wants nothing to do with him. Rightly so I think. I told him he fucked up, and he agrees. So he needs somewhere to stay. He was wondering if he could move in, and pay rent. I do need help paying rent, but I dont wanna be a bad guy and help a cheater even though I do care about him, but I feel like maybe his wife is the most important thing right now. What should I do?

Help him. He may have fucked up and I don’t approve of cheating and I agree his wife should divorce him for it, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do the Christian thing and help a friend in need.

How old is his daughter? The timeline doesn’t seem to add up.

Okay so his biological daughter is 8. The one who took his phone and showed it to his wife is 15, and thats her daughter from another marriage. Also, i should add that this has happened before. He said he went with a girl uo to the river. I don't know what happened. Thats why she suspected it.

You’re not “a bad guy” for setting a boundary. He cheated on his disabled wife, blew up his own life, and now wants a soft landing. That’s a giant red flag as a roommate and as a friend.

You can care about him and still say no. Support him emotionally, not residentially. Let him deal with the consequences instead of lovebombing you with “I’ll pay rent” and using you as an escape hatch.
