1. Self-serving

Taking care of yourself is not selfish. It is more selfish to be broken and expect people to pick up the broken pieces, than to fix yourself. The best way to do this is practice self love, and know that you deserve the best in the world.

2. Be Genuine

Be yourself. No one is perfect, therefore show your true self because it's what makes you human. Everyone has struggles and weaknesses, but not everyone is honest about it.

3. Empathy

Be kind to others. You will never know what someone might be going through; try to think beyond what you see and experience. There could always be a reason towards someone's particular behaviour and action. Understand from a place of love.

4. Know when to leave

When you truly love someone, but you know that they are hurting you, you leave them because you love them. You are not responsible for fixing someone, you can only be the support. Never surround yourself in a negative environment.

5. Seek experience

Don't let life control you, control your own life by seeking out new experiences. Do something you haven't done before, and allow yourself to grow.
