What the bible teaches about Boundaries - Building on the Idea of Salt

What the bible teaches about Boundaries - Building on the Idea of Salt

I've met a small minority of Christians who justify cursing and condemning and judging others with the belief the psalmist and the book of proverbs curses and condemns and judges others

But Paul said the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God

What would be more correct to say is that in psalms and proverbs judgment is done to maintain health boundaries for the sake of self interest and it is also done to preserve salvation in the elect who face persecution and it is used to protect the weaker and helpless person from the stronger and powerful oppressor who abuses and takes advantage of them

The wrath of God in the bible is used to protect people and not to harm or injure them - it is used to save lives and isn't an ego trip for somebody who wants to boost their self esteem and vanity at the expense of another's happiness or welfare or misfortune - that isn't righteous

I said in a previous post that in the bible salt is a symbol for spiritual judgment

Spiritual judgment makes somebody merciful and protective and gracious when they encounter somebody who is being abusive or destructive to others

Carnal judgment makes somebody violent and abusive and vindictive and makes them hate and abuse and hunger for punishment when they encounter a wrong doer

In the same way salt is consumed in the mouth when the mouth is closed

So spiritual judgment is meant to be hidden and not oracularly expressed to an indiscriminate audience of unknown origin and pathos

And sometimes the expression is testimonial and psychologically sensory and not verbal or cosmetically overt

In the same way intellectual judgment like Angela Duckworth which although a brother of spiritual judgment is meant to be public and given to all domains both spiritual and secular

But true spiritual judgment - though an essential component of life - is meant to be hidden and secretive

So the four judgements I've discussed are

1 - Protective Judgement

2 - Spiritual Judgment

3 - Intellectual Judgment

4 - Carnal Judgment (The Devil in these 4 types)
