At school girls would not let me join their prayer group cause I seemed lazy and they would yell at me and hang up on me when I called them on the phone

But the reason I was lazy was cause I suffered burn out from having an anxiety disorder for 11 years which was caused by my abusive parents

I remember a guy judged somebody for not feeling guilty about hurting their feelings not knowing the person was autistic and did not know how to feel empathy for others

I knew a girl who I suspected was a prostitute but she later told me she was molested as an 8 year old so it would have been wrong for me to hold her to the same standard I held everybody else

There was another girl from church who was always sleeping around with random guys and it was revealed two years later that she had been molested by her male guardian which led to her sleeping around with different men

There was a guy who would never work for a living and it was revealed years later he was brain damaged - people were rejecting his friend request online because he did not have a job and they thought he was lazy

The bible says if you judge and exclude others you will go to hell after you die

It does not say do not judge cause you might get judged as well

It says do not judge or you will be judged

Its a guarantee

Those are some great examples but simplier yet, anyone that you know you can't assume to fully know, especially someone you just met for the first time. You can't assume anything about a person. You can and are allowed to ask questions leading to help but you can never assume the help that they need.

this is a total misreading of the scripture.. and also, this kind of simping is very toxic, and not helping anyone.

You will be judged, everyone will, you need to judge properly, you pretend you are "not judging", because you are choosing to hold everyone to a different standard.. this not a good way to live life, it just means you are judging people based on sympathy.

empathy does not mean other people's feelings are justified: it just means you could 'put yourself in that position'.. this emulation of others emotions, is by its nature, a thought experiment, that you take emotions from performing in your mind.. it helps you to be aware of context that you can outline the shadows of, so you know to tred lightly, it does not mean that the person your empathising with, isn't being unwise, or uncareful, or dishonest about their own plight, or that they aren't willfully closing their own eyes to their own self-caused or self-contributed downfalls.

Helpfulness is judgement, can go hand in hand, and infact, judgement is necessary to be authentically helpful in any other way than mere fluke.

Trauma does not make you immune from scrutiny: and some people are toxic people, and you shouldn't want to make friends with just anyone.. Judgement is a two edged blade, it cuts both ways.. one standard, used for everyone.. just get the right principles in place.. bespoke morality is not going to work out for society.

Stoicism is a good starting place for spiritual growth.. gratitude tempered by blame and even hatred of everything's defectiveness. Everything has a break down point: look for a way to detach from positive and negative, and then judge according to what you hope and believe is pragmatic.. Sentiments are not judgements, and neither is bespoke "morality", by an even judger.

1. Autistics do feel empathy, they just don't express it the same, so you are wrong there.

2. We are not the Judge, this is true, but God is. He directs us to speak the Truth and should warn people of damnation. God convicts, not us, but we are used to deliver the message. If you feel convicted that is the Holy Spirit not me. Better to offend people to bring conviction than to comfort them and bring damnation. God convicts all, especially his servants as we are His.

They do not feel empathy for everybody - one autistic guy that I rejected told his friend he was angry at God for healing my life threatening illness because he wanted to punish me for refusing to date him after he drove me home from church

I didn't say they couldn't be jerks, but the blanket statement they don't feel empathy is categorically false. My autistic Brother is one of the most loving people you'd ever meet. They just don't express it the same.

Im sorry i have to comment but most religious groups are the biggest hypocrites of us all. Says no judgement... all equal... gods children and all that shit. But the Bible thumpers are the most unforgiving gosiping self righteous people I have ever met.

That's because some denominations have turned what's supposed to be a relationship and not religion into religion in Christianity. I went to a church for about 4 years that made me feel like God hated me. I'm just now learning, 10 years later at my new church, that He doesn't. He told us not to judge, but to love your neighbor as yourself. And Christians aren't supposed to go around bashing anyone. Yes, GENTLY remind someone/your fellow Christian (even says that in the Bible) if they're doing something that's not Christ-like, but it never said to bash anyone or even use harsh words. My old church tried to say that we should judge people, but who are we to judge anyway? We're all born into sin, and we're all human. It's the pot calling the kettle black. This is why it's important to represent Jesus, and sadly, a lot of people these days don't do that. Praying for clarity for anyone who has been misled 🙏 I know I certainly was.

I get what you're saying. However the bible doesn't really say NOT to judge. It really says to consider yourself first and look at yourself to make sure you're not a hypocrite so that you can see clearly in order to pass judgement correctly and in the right spirit.
Judgement is NECESSARY.
