I had two major factors that were affecting my weight loss, maybe three.
The first was hunger because of liver issues, I learned about two supplements that reversed that problem within 4 days.
The second was I did not have time to exercise and since exercise made me hungry, I thought there was little value in working out since my body would simply ask me to eat back the calories I burned.
The third factor was cravings and this is what I’m here to discuss. I read a fascinating book on the mental and physical benefits of having positive social relationships and mental precepts and found the book to be so fascinating I nearly choose reading over sleep and I noticed that during the time I was entranced by the book, I was not interested in eating potato chips. In fact it seem abhorrent for me to eat junk food because my body said I was full.
When my mind was more lax and unfocused with no known goal in sight, I began to crave chips again and my body told me I was hungry and not getting necessary spices I needed. From that I realized that if I wanted to avoid over indulging on physical food, I would have to feed my body with spiritual and mental and emotional food, because my body was interpreting my unfulfilled mind as hunger and not realizing my problem was intellectual and not physical.
So that is how God helped me lose weight. From now on, I will satisfy my craving for chips with books and not food.
