What God taught me this week about loss and setback

The Book of Isaiah 60 Says:

17 Instead of bronze I will bring you gold, and silver in place of iron. Instead of wood I will bring you bronze, and iron in place of stones. I will make peace your governor and well-being your ruler.

What I get out of this verse is that when one thing that is meant to be yours is taken from you through no fault of your own, God will give you a better and superior replacement free of charge that you can cherish and enjoy, so what was originally meant as bad news for you, becomes good news for you instead.

Like I was admitted into grad school for a program I hated but due to my lack of connections and desperation for professional upgrades, I stuck it out until the professor changed his mind about selecting me as his student.

However, I later realized my grades were so high from my desperation to please the professor that I now qualified for another grad program in a different subject I found easier and more interesting than the program I got kicked out of.

And I was originally upset when my boyfriend dumped me but now I know I can find a nicer and smarter and happier and healthier guy. When I the lost my former female best friend from grade school I realized there were plenty of ladies from church that I could talk to who shared my faith and belief in God.

With the loss of my job due to CoVid I realized I can make more than double my former income in a new career as a professional author and writer if not quintuple or more than that.
