so if a person accidentally kills themself then their death does not fall under the definition of suicide.
No one knows for certain whether suicide is a sin; however religions and spiritual paths do not recommend suicide. Spiritual paths believe in the concept of karma and reincarnation, therefore by committing suicide one is merely temporarily avoiding difficulties, which do not go away as one has to reincarnate again to face the problems one attempted to avoid by suicide; therefore suicide is not the answer. But then again as I said at the start ‘no one knows what the truth is regarding spiritual matters. I recommend that you read up on ‘QUANTUM-PHYSICS’; as well as ‘REINCARNATION’.
What if you sacrifice yourself, to save the life of someone else? Like you jump onto a street to push someone away before getting hit by a truck, while knowing it will definitely hit you then?
Would that be considered suicide?
No clue.
No. The goal there would not be to end your life but to protect others. Like a soldier who dives on a grenade to save his buddies. He knows it will in all likelihood kill him, but that is not his objective.
if you believe in what religion say and believe in God.. then suicide is a sin. why?
humans were created by God to share the goodness and protect and preserve the creation of other living things. when a human is finished with his/her life's purpose, he/she will be returned to God. so if people commit suicide that means he/she deny it.
but many people still do that with empty thoughts bcs they are already sinking with their lives which they think there is no hope anymore.
which is that make me sad.
You did not really answer the question
oh sry i misunderstood earlier. i don't think it was as long as she/he didn't plan to kill her/him self from the start
Well I am asking if accidentally killing yourself is a sin.
By definition suicide requires intention to kill oneself. If a person accidentally kills themself then it does not fall under the definition of suicide.
Since sin is a manmade concept it is not a sin to to kill yourself neither accidentally nor on purpose.

Accidentally killing yourself typically means it was your time, otherwise you would have survived. So nope, not a sin.
its an accident and infact many religions would view an accident as an act of god so it can't be a sin as such
If god exists god knows all. Motives, how light somebody takes live and gives it and offcourse if it was truly an accident.
The intention counts. If you died trying to cure a deadly disease, it is considered a heroic act. If you didn't INTEND to kill yourself, it does not count as sin. But it depends on what you were intending to do.
The word "religion" means absolutely nothing.
Anyways, in the 10 commandments it says You shal not kill. Its a big sin.
OH, accidentally, well that's an accident.
Deuteronomy 19:5 5For instance, a man may go into the forest with his neighbor to cut wood, and as he swings his ax to fell a tree, the head may fly off and hit his neighbor and kill him. That man may flee to one of these cities and save his life.
You just answered your own question. No it's not suicide. It's not a sin.
But if you plan to accidentally kill yourself then it would still be suicide.
If something was planned it means it was intentional.
There is no such thing as a planned accident.
Depends on the religion
