It makes no sense to ostracize people from other religious or spiritual backgrounds just because it doesn’t align with your beliefs.
I’m atheist and believe all religions should be able to co exist in peace.
Because Christianity as other bigger religion has an exclusivity claim. For a Hindu there is no problem if you worship another god than him he just adds this one god to his worship. But if you come and say: "I worship just one god." He will also have problems.
Similar with Buddhists, Buddhists have no problem with an after life. But when you talk with them about your belief this after life is combined with the belief in a deity they would strongly disagree.
Muslims believe in one God but they wouldn´t say that Jesus is god. A statement that is crucial for Christians.
All in all is that any religious people that are faithful to their religion would state the exclusivity of their faith because it´s part of their lifestyle.
America was founded by Christians. That is why we have freedom of religion. Any Christian knows you can't make someone a Christian it is a choice. If Christianity were state run we'd have the Church of England again which the colonist escaped. The ability to choose Christianity is a beautiful thing, but Christianity is the Truth whether you accept or not. All other religions are lies and do not hold water. The truth of Christianity exposes the shambles of secular religion, so naturally secular religion seeks to destroy it.
America was founded by the natives, no. Of which where Christian. The natives had spiritual, cultural practices. But no Christianity. Christianity was something they where forced to adapt and assimilate to, and since I’m a assuming you know history. We all know that ended in bloodshed for the natives
North and South America named after Amerigo Vespucci. America colloquial for USA. USA was founded by Christians as a unified country. Native people certainly were displaced and helped form the USA, but USA is a product of Christian beliefs. Catholicism was forced on Native central and South Americans, that is not the America we live in. No one can be made a Christian, if you were naive enough to believe that, then why doesn't the constitution founded by Christians mandate Christianity? Because Christians know you cannot force anyone to be Christian, you either accept God's grace through Jesus Christ or you will accept judgement for your sins. Christians have but one goal, speak the Truth God has provided. Christianity will go away and then the judgement will come and then all that will remain living will be Christians. You will be judged by God for how you lived your life. If you repent in this lifetime you will be saved, if you do not you are headed for Hell, the choice is yours.
They are dirty hypocrites, of course.
To top it all off, these "Christians" usually squirt buckets of cum thinking about the professional liar, McDonald Trump, who basically embodies all things associated with the Antichrist! You couldn't write a funnier comedy script if you tried. :)
Why do you keep posting questions in Religion if you don't believe in it. Or do you like watching the heated discussions by people? These questions have been asked so many times that they have their own encyclopedia. By the way, Walmart is hiring in case you got bored.

I believe it’s blasphemy to condemn people for practicing a different religion from yourself
I think it would make less sense for them to NOT have this perspective to other people's religions, did you ever read the Bible? God always makes pretty clear the He's the only God and all the others are abhorrent idols.
If someone is Christian, it makes perfect sense to have these views about the others' religion, because it stays in conformity with their own religion.
I myself believe that forcing others to believe in what you believe is harmful, no matter the context, but only avoiding people from other religions is the opposite of that, so it doesn't bother me that religious people think ill of religions that are not their own, as long as they do not get in pointless fights.
It does make sense to be loyal to one king does it not? Why would you wanna be loyal to all leaders in the world? That's stupid. 2nd most religions aren't gonna accept the fact that what your preaching is correct because to them it's not. Sense you don't believe in any religion yea it makes senses for you to behave that way but not religious people
Yeah, cause no other major religions are intolerant of others. (Islam). If Islam can murder non-believers, Christians can annoy people about their lord and savior, Jesus. That's much more milder compared to suicide bombings and beheadings. I'm not a Christian myself, but they don't really bother me. If someone is coming to kill or torture me cause I don't share their faith, that's when it becomes a cause for concern.
Actually, murder is a major sin in Islam. Educate yourself or shut your mouth.
“Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a holy war…When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these you also accept it and withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them…. If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them.” (Sahih Muslim 4294)
Those good peaceful Hadiths. Educate yourselves.
I’m not sure where you got that from, but that’s not accurate. Murder is a MAJOR sin meaning it’ll prevent you from going to heaven no matter your other good deeds. That is really how major of a sin it is. Because murder is so major in Islam, even abortion is considered murder.
And now you’re saying that muslims are told to murder others when it’s a major sin? Make it make sense hun.
🤔🤔
Its all a gamble to see who can control more lives than the other. Religious people love talking smack other religions that aren't there. But they all basically go for almost the same goal, that god created this and that, that god wants us to do this or not do that. Etc.
No? Well when christian were almost removed by Muslim from existence, crucified little girls and raped them and every woman they could the "first crusade" was retaliatory not offensive. Plus I mean come on did we not hear what happened to the woman fighting in the middle east so women could have drivers licenses she got raped to death with a metal rod... There's that for one
Because they think theirs is the only real religion and only good path. They’re so wrong.
Then you're not "atheist" - you're agnostic.
No wonder you're confused, kiddo. Finish school, then make choices and posts.
I wouldn’t say I’m confused, I just don’t care we other people believe or don’t believe in a god. I personally don’t believe In a god but don’t care about other people’s practices as long as it’s not harming anyone else or they aren’t using their practice to justify hatred/violence of an entire group of people
Dunno why this mentions Christians but not all the other religions that do exactly the same thing and why? Cause that's what religions do.
Christians are not SUPPOSED to be Pro-religion (supporting the beliefs of any other religion other than their own Faith). From the perspective of Christianity, all other religions ARE unGodly, and potentially Demonic
That’s why I argue that western Christianity works alongside the white supremacy. That’s why Christianity was used to justify slavery, and Christianity was used to demonize the natives and Africans for their own cultural spiritual practices.
A lot of Christians from my observations don’t even know what their own Bible actually says. As an ex Christian who’s read the Bible, reading the Bible is exactly why I’m not Christian anymore.
Plus the Bible’s been translated over a thousand times by man so I don’t have any logical reason to believe a book that’s supposedly holy even though it was written and translated a bunch of times to definitely fit a narrative.
That’s just my opinion, nothing against Christians that practice their faith without hating others.
OK, thanks for your views on this. by the way, I don't see so-called "White Supremacy" as having anything to do with anything. I see it as merely being an opinion that many people have, that they keep hidden in the privacy of their own minds. VERY few people OPENLY express that view
because that's how the god delusion works. you can only have one god and never question that one god. cause the "questioning" is what will lead you away from god.
Because part of the cult is teaching that their way is right and every other way is wrong
Because Christians are the most entitled of all religious groups
I agree with you but all religions do this even buddhists
Well, they have all sorts of weird rules about that. Remember the Crusades?
Totally wrong. You are thinking of Muslims.
@doopayo. Right. Muslims just behead people who are the infidel and throw gays off of roof tops. Do you have the slightest fucking clue what Muslims do to Christians?
You have been well programmed by the liberal left.
Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations
Because they are anal-retentive.
Because they are Christians lol
