It's not the truth lol. If it was the truth then you'd be able to back up your claim with evidence. The fact that you run with your tail between your legs everyone asks you "how?" Or "why?" Shows that you have no evidence and you're afraid of the truth. Instead of standing your ground, you make a statement to reassure yourself that you're right, and then you run for the hills before you. You're not convincing anyone but yourself.

Christianity is split into three branches: Cathlolics, Protestants, and Eastern Orthodox.

All Catholics are Christians, but not all Christians are Catholics.

  Short answer is that he is biased and not even trying to hide it. Just ignore him, arguing with this loser would be the equivalent of trying to convince a racist that black people are human too. Bias acts as a blinder, unless he is willing to confront his bias, he will never see the truth.
