Does the bible say God will give you a husband?

I believe I’m destined to be around successful people because the bible says

“Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will serve before kings, he will not serve before officials of low rank.”

But I’m not sure a very successful person would want to marry me. I’m an extremely kind person but I’m very ordinary looking.

But I don’t have low ranking friends because low ranking people keep rejecting my friendship or romantic interest.

I don’t reject them because the bible says snobby people go to hell after they die.

The Bible does not guarantee anyone a husband or a wife.

However, I believe that "looking ordinary" has never stopped any woman from finding a husband. Every wise man I know has told me not to focus on a woman's looks, but instead on her character; and I know that many of us listened to those wise men and have not regretted it.

Do get out there and meet people, though.

I can only hope for a wife, because what the Bible says definitely on the subject is: "He who finds a good wife finds a good thing; it is a mark of favour from God"(my understanding of Proverbs 18:22).

Pardon me if I have nisunderstood your question. I am not quite sure if I am understanding it as you intended it.

As a christian who has looked into marriage in the Bible a fair bit, I can say with confidence that marriage is not guaranteed. Now there are many passages that support marriage (what a wonderful blessing from God!) including 1st Corinthians 7, where Paul says that every man should have his own wife because of sexual sin. However, he also says that, out of concession, it is good to be single.

Now, you are most certainly not guaranteed a successful man as a husband. But you can be picky. The Bible does not say that snobby people go to hell. The only requirement to go to heaven is that you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you shall be saved (Romans 10:9).

Just because the Bible says that hard work leads to status does not mean that it will manifest in all the same ways. I recommend listening to a sermon on that chapter or reading a commtary on it for greater clarity.

Keep in mind, Jesus was very hard working and committed to his ministry. Yet he was poor on this Earth. The same goes for the 12 disciples, Paul, and many prophets

Status might even be a thing that manifests iinstead in heaven rather than earth. God telling you "Well done, Good and faithful servant." is high status material if I've ever heard any example of status.

These two points go to say that that verse in Proverbs warrants more investigation beyond interpreting it at face value.

I would encourage you to examine other qualities that you would want in a man. Now to do this, I recommend examining why you want a successful man. Financial security? You like motivated and driven people? Maybe you would like a status symbol? Now, I'm not going to condemn these things, as I have my own shallow things thst I am drawn to (beauty and exterior appearance) that I don't find I can change at this time (I wish I could! It narrows my options so much and makes it hard to date girls with lovely character and personality 🥲). Many of us have a superficial attraction that is just hard to overlook on a gut level)

but you could definitely make your search easier if you can discover a more common trait that inspires yiur desire for a successful man, and how a man would meet that requirement.

If you want financial security, maybe you could find a hard working guy who has a job and is good at budgeting.

If you want a guy with status, you could consider what other forms of status that you may be drawn to--maybe a guy who is a leader in a church and is well-loved by people would appeal to you.

For a driven guy, maybe look for someone who scores high on the personality trait concientiousness. His drivenness may manifest in different, less obvious ways than money.

Overall, I'll say that you can still be quite selective, but it's worthwhile to do some introspection and prayer to figure out if your desire for a successful guy is motivated by something else. It will broaden your options, give you greater clarity, and maybe bake you feel more confident in rejecting guys that would be a bad match for you. I think it could feel very liberating for you.

I'm super down to talk with you more about this, as I am doing much of this soul-searching myself as I hope for marriage too! I'd love to hear a christian woman's perspective on some things.

Social ranking is a social structure. It may have some value, though I doubt it is God given.
If people reject your friendship and romantic interest, then their value system is simply different from yours. If you are success oriented, you will attract those with similar orientation, and to some extent repel those who do not share your life goals and aspirations.
As for God giving a husband, that might be. I'm reminded of the saying "God helps those who help themselves" implying that some effort must be expended. Whether it's catching a husband or catching a cold, exposure counts for a lot. Trust your instincts, your intellect, and be patient. It is also said, "All things come to her who waits." Just don't wait until your dotage.

How exactly does god give you a husband? Does he put a guy in a box and send to your mail? Does he mind control your future husband to know you without him noticing? If you can't explain how your God works, then you can't be certain if what you claim to know about him is actually true. What if it is the devil who is trying to hook you up with some guy? Do you have any way of knowing?

A lot of truth is in the Bible. The Bible is the book of life and the devil wants to keep us from reading t because of that reason. Your eyes become open when you start to read and meditate on his word. Our sovereign Lord is good. He blesses us more than what we deserve and for that he deserves all honor, praise and glory.
