How do you get the morals you abide by today without God? This is known as moral relativism you can claim that murder for example is immoral but why is it immoral? If god doesn’t exist it does me no good not to murder my brother and steal his land or murder my parents to steal there money. If god doesn’t exist we might as well live our lives In the best way that benefits us, Therefore morals are subjective without the existence of god. Why not own slaves? Wouldn’t it be more beneficial to enslave people and force them to work without giving them pay so I could get Rich off of there work? And like live stock only give them shelter from the cold and a little bit of food and water to make sure they stay alive, Without humans being created in Gods image this would be perfectly acceptable, But since God does exist and has laid out certain rules for us to follow like don’t steal don’t murder don’t comment adultery and the idea that all men are created equal in the image of god it means we don’t have a right to enslave our neighbors. If god doesn’t exist morals are only a human creation which could be counter intuitive to our future survival if god exist then those morals have a logical reason for existing, and we must fallow then for our benefit after our body dies and our spirit travels to heaven

I won’t change your mind. I’m not a believer myself, but I won’t push my beliefs onto other people and try to change their beliefs so that it matches mine. You believe whatever you want to believe, because you’re your own person and it’s your rightful preference to have certain beliefs, like not believing in the idea of God etc. People these days aren’t open to a healthy debate and their minds aren’t changed easily. It’d also be lind if useless to debate since I’m like 60% atheist and 40% agnostic? I’m still tryna figure it out, but I’m defo not religious.

But, at the same time, you should also be respectful to others who do believe in God, because they’re their own people with their own beliefs, just like you.

Yes, if that car did not hit a child, it means that God is the one who protected him. It is the fault of that man that he manages to hit the second one, the man's guilt can be justified> alcoholism, inattention / ignorance, irresponsibility, unconsciousness.
But God does not have to intervene in our world to serve us. That accident is also a lesson for the driver to drive carefully and for the victim to insure himself.
