exactly. god was like ohhh helllll nahhhh. and boom helllll nahhh became the real hell. well actually the real hell comes later in the story after jesus cruises back on the clouds and is like yo yo wasssupppp. and then boom, god vs. satan fight or something and of course jesus wins that shiz and satan goes to hell. but if satan hadn't tried to talk back to god and god hadn't said hell to the nah then would god have even thought of the idea of making a hell for satan and us bad peeps to have to get all burnt up in forever?
And God KNEW that he was going to do that BEFORE he created him Exactly as he wanted. That makes him GOD'S FAULT.

Not quite, satin killed Job’s family, (10 people if I remember correctly) still pretty insignificant to the millions god killed. But also Lucifer is regularly depicted as being weaker than god, and only killed Job’s family after being told to do so by god, you know… the “good” guy of the story.

Humanity is pretty shite but give ourselves a little bit of credit for evolving as far as we have as a species, against all odds. Humans, for all our flaws, are amazingly capable at forming very large groupings in a way that works as a town/city/society. Part of that is understanding which social norms are acceptable and which aren't... which also translates to social "rights" and "wrongs" ... legal vs. illegal... good vs. evil.
From a very young age we all naturally push the boundaries of what we can get away with until there's some punishment on the other end. The stakes just get higher once we join society as adults.

@gwenhwyfar of course it was written. i've read it! Long after humanity had existed, and even if you go with the non-evolutionary timeline, lots of stories passed from tribe to tribe, generation to generation, before sophisticated language was developed, let alone WRITTEN language skills.
Anyway, I think lots of old texts, of various religions/philosophy are super fascinating. I do not think any of it formed a foundation for good vs. evil in humans. Nature vs. nurture or something, and good vs. evil is definitely nature while going to church & stuff is definitely nurture.

@Gwenhwyfer good point. Except that Adam and Eve didn't know the difference between good and evil because they hadn't eaten from the Tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. Therefore they could not have sinned.
