I was married in my early 20s and now I’m in my mid 30s. At the start I embraced my husbands religion. But the past year I have decided it is not for me. My husband knows this but keeps on pushing it on me and expects me to ensure our kids embrace it too. Has anyone ever been in the similar situation? And thought I might as well follow the religion just to avoid a as arguments and to make life less complicated?

Are you wanting a bunch of opinions from random people on here, half of whom probably have zero experience or discernment in this area? Or do you want to know what God / Scripture says about this?
Did you embraced his religion before you were married? This should have been sorted at that time.
It sounds like you set his expectation for marriage and children based on his religion. Any objection at the time to this was either weak or non existent.
Now you've decided unilaterally that you don't want to anymore. How is he meant to raise his children in a way that he thinks it's appropriate?
You should honor your previous agreements on this subject.
