An illusionist. If you read about his miracles like walking on water, turning water into wine, multiplying the loaves, levitating, even raising people from the dead. This all sounds eerily similar to tricks performed by modern day illusionists and street magicians. So is it possible that Jesus didn't actually possess any supernatural powers, but was just an ancient David Blaine. Maybe even a con artist. Who had assistants. I mean, there were geniuses back then, so why couldn't there have been street magicians?
Yes, totally dude! :) There was a British magician (Dynamo) who a couple of years ago performed the trick of walking not just on water, but on the Thames river, in broad daylight and in front of thousands of people.

The miracles stories were probably added long after his death to make Christianity more appealing.
In a time where the sick and disabled littered the streets it's odd he cured only a tiny number.

No, it is not.
For one thing, one only needs to look at the claims that He made of Himself (and, more importantly, the way in which He made them) and then do so in light of the time, place, and culture in which He did so. He was not just a "miracle worker", let alone just for the sake of working miracles. And then, of course, the subsequent claims His followers made and what they suffered for doing so.
Josephus for one but there are other secularist historians that document Jesus existed and His works are accurate. Everyday Romans, Jews, and Muslims of that era, Forensic evidence, archaeology and do on.
You would be better serve doing just a little bit of research.impossible for magician to do what witnesses saw he did.
