Is it ok to believe in miracles after successfully getting my girlfriend pregnant?

Anonymous

I have a severe case of sperm morphology. This means deformed, abnormal sperm (in sizes and shapes) and I've been told several times the chances of fathering a kid were very slim and unlikely, given only a 3-5% chance at most. Their mobility is affected too.

None of my previous gfs in the past ever got pregnant by me. I got dumped for that twice in the past. I actually did get a paternity test because I was taken by surprise. The exam came back positive. The very, very few healthy sperm I had left somehow made its way past the overwhelming defective majority, survived and defeated that slim chance.

I've named our daughter (now 2 years old) Faith. I've always believed in some higher being that helps out, sometimes making the impossible possible. I used to pray for years. She's likely the only child I'll ever have but I'm ok with it. This might sound silly but I do believe that was a gift from God and a miracle, a miracle baby. Is it ok to believe in miracles?

Some of my family members are atheists and they think it was just random luck and the advance in medicine. Yet, medicine can only help up to certain point. I still believe it was the work of God.
