Yes and no. I had been to church a lot as a child but once my parents divorced, we only went every second weekend with grandparents and although they were very cult like, pressured us in what they wanted us to think, my mother was never like that. I grew up believing in the same belief but not the way my grandparents were. I can acknowledge they were a wreck but it didn’t take away from the belief

I think my mom wanted us (particularly my sister and I) to believe in God and religion. She tried to instill prayer (which didn't stick) and she made us go to Catechism and I had my first communion, but I didn't go to Catechism after that.
And we hardly ever went to Sunday Mass, so yeah...
My mom's not very good at practicing what she preaches. 😂

I was raised in a somewhat religious household. after my parents divorced my mom was extremely religious and still is and my dad wasn’t so much. For a while my mom was the type who would ground me for refusing to go to church on Sundays. Eventually I decided I was Christian and accepted Jesus as my lord and savior. I don’t always attend church every Sunday though… I usually go when I visit my mom.

Yes, my parents were devout Catholics: very generous, pro-life (And yes, anti-death penalty) and were great role models.

I'm still a practicing Catholic after having taken a break from going regularly.

My mother and father are very conservative Muslims. But they don't perform their religious duties much, so my answer to this is that I did not grow up in a very religious family.
