My boyfriend does not want to learn more about God and Jesus with me and won’t go to church with me but claims he believes which I don’t disagree with but I feel as if this is affecting my relationship with God and Jesus and furthering myself.

Do yourself a favour and realise that complicating your relationship like this is silly.

Okay, so, assuming you truly believe in God here (and the Christian God). You need to read your Bible (or study whatever religious texts you feel God is calling you to) and pray to work out where your at. This will (hopefully) reveal to you what, your calling from God is (aka to none Christians what you feel is right based on a sense and feeling from within, backed from others without you asteem as mentors and peers).

You also need to decide what 'following God and Jesus' means, and if you feel your purpose is to try to coerce others, particularly your partner into how they should or must behave (or more likely if God / Jesus and your faith calls for you to find a partner who shares your exact religious position or if God is calling you to possibly help this particular person).

In the non-religious position, you need to decide what rules you have for your own coupling and decide if those rules are ones that exclude this person and if they do, you should follow the rules you have assigned for yourself (aka don't put yourself in conflict with your deeply held beliefs for a partner who many not change or be able to share those beliefs).

If however, you are really in love with this man, share your concerns, in love and make it clear what your wanting and wishing to avoid and then put faith in God to guide you both.
