Why do Hindus dislike Muslims?

Even though India is a Muslim country, most Hindus do not like Muslims. what do you think?

Well the partition of India into Hindu India and Muslim Pakistan in 1947 was a bit of a blood bath with 1 million deaths. Women, presumably as concubines, were abducted by both sides.
So that would make both hate each other. There are also unresolved border disputes. India was thought complicit in East Paksitan breaking away as Bangladesh.
Currently there are a minority of two hundred million Muslims (not enough to make India a Muslim country) in India and 3 million Hindus in Pakistan.

It all boils down to control. Hindus have similar issues getting along with Christians.
By the by, I'm not sure that India counts as a Muslim country. I don't think the population percentage is high enough.

I remember reading about Pakistan invading India many years ago, raping the women and making them convert. Might that have something to do with it? I don't know!

India is a Hindu-majority country. Muslims are a large minority, but India can't be defined as a "Muslim country."
