How would you define success and status in your social circle?

I feel that even if I married a rich guy and became rich myself through my career and potentially updated credentials, that I might still be viewed as behind in life cause I do not have children similar in age to my friends or cousins and relatives' children's ages.

I am not saying personality does not matter. But the bible says not to practice virtue signalling so I don't think I could apply my personality as a status symbol since most people would not hear me brag about my personality.

Rich is a relative term. What does it mean to be “rich”? One can have nothing and be “rich”; one can have everything and yet, still be poor.

Wealth and status is therefore not defined by money or estate; but rather, perception- how does one see the world? A person of class is someone who keeps an open and curious mind, someone who isn’t quick to judge; they are cultured- they value both practical fact and abstract art. One can say they’ve mastered the harmony between left and right minds.

it appears your idea of wealth is centered on what others perceive of you. That’s not a rich way of living. Anyone of class or “rich” living doesn’t care what others perceive of them because they’re confident in themselves. We don’t drive fancy Bentleys or don the designer bags or clothes. Nah, that’s for the feeble minded- the ones who try too hard. You’ll see us in a regular jeans and t shirt, making causal jokes at a party. When Less feels more, and time is more valuable than money; I can say you’re headed in the right direction

Is that person comfortable where he/she is and are they happy? If yes, they are winning at life.

Idk…I am still young. Right now, it would be if someone graduated from uni. I know a few people who have graduated, and have good jobs.

Just being able to live comfortably without having to worry about starving, having to choose what I do and don't pay or having to continuously worry about losing my home.

That is status and success to me and if I can achieve that I'll be happy.
