Your social group can certainly have an impact on your dating or married life. If there is a significant amount of pressure from your friends or family regarding your significant other, whether it be negative or positive, it may influence you in ways that you don’t expect.

Absolutely. For most, those are the people you go to when you are having issues in your relationship. What they say is going to impact how you feel about your partner. Then again, when you constantly only tell your friends the negative stuff, that’s all they really have a picture of about them so it’s not fair to your partner. You are who you hang with.

If my relationship fails than it's my own fault.

I suppose, however, the quality of person is paramount. I know Conservative, poor, and sound in judgment woman married a 10 million plus hard asset guy-controlling Monies/Bank... Business Partner ("my master")... She's popping out kids, running a household, being trained in the Business, and almost in a position to advise him reluctantly... with a woman perspective which has been lacking. Quality of Person...
