Are you a daydreamer or a dream catcher?

Let me explain: A daydreamer is someone who for me has big dreams but doesn't or can't make them a reality. A dream catcher is someone who has a dream or a vision that they want to achieve and does anything in their power to make it a reality. Also a daydreamer is someone who has dreams that aren't so feasible unlike dream catchers whose dreams are very realistic. Which one are you?

Probably somewhere in the middle, but closer to a dream catcher. I like to think of myself as the line about Thomas Edison from the movie "National treasure". Supposedly Edison tried and failed a 1000 times trying to invent the light bulb. When asked about it he said, "I didn't fail, I found 999 ways not to make a lightbulb".

I set out when i was about 21 to become a millionaire by 60. This isn't that difficult when you do the math on it. But life isn't simple, doesn't go according to plan, and will throw you one curve after another. So while mathmatically it isn't hard, everyone would accomplish it if it were simple. And they don't. However as I'm about 75% of the way to 60 I'm ahead of pace. This hasn't been my only goal in life. But I highlighted this one to illustrate that I'm relentless! Even if it takes me 40 years. To make a dream come to reality, I WILL!

I never set my sights to the stars because I know they are unreachable, but I try and follow all my dreams to actual completion, otherwise I don't see the point in having them..

There is one VERY wayward exception though. I would love to be able to fly one of these, but knowing full well it is beyond me:-

I’m a maladaptive daydreamer, that’s the official psychological term. I have a massive number of intricate daydreams that amount to their own universes with detailed story plots and ideas that are very entertaining. It’s a coping mechanism, a way to escape reality when no other methods of escapism are present.

but most of my feasible dreams and a few totally impossible ones sooner or later come true...

I think my goals are achievable and set out to make them, but I am also achieving things by the laziest way possible and without much effort.
