I heard the Israelites took 40 years to achieve a walk that should have only taken 3 days in the bible, do you agree with my theories about it?

I think God might purposely block your path, to force you to establish yourself in your faith and belief systems.

That God could hand you the world on a silver platter, but he makes the process difficult or slow, so you will learn to appreciate the heavenly giver, and not just the heavenly gift that is given to you by the heavenly giver.

When I was 7 I went to church I had to take a bus. And my brother and sister. .. we all had different classes. I was listening to the preacher. He was reading something out of the Bible. And when he finished he explained what it meant. I remember thing what? What did you say did I miss some thing because what I heard. Was something completely different. And then he said. If we do do what he just said. We would go to hell. Then I heard this is not God. And I looked around. No one was there. God the real god would not harm you God would not harm anyone always have faith you know the truth in time you will find it.. when I got home I told my mom everything that happen that day. And said im never going back

Church and that fake man is telling people lies to get money. I dont think the bible is right. We are good church. She said what do you mean. Then she said do you mean your body is out temple.. I put my fingers on my temple on my head I Saud he's in between our temples that mean we are God and she just looked at me funny any way the God in the Bible he is a god. How come i have never heard from any religion that we are supposed to bring heaven to Earth.

From what I was taught, after fleeing Egypt (remember the infamous Red Sea parting?) the Israelites got lost and wandered about the desert, because they started worshiping false gods, idols, not Yahweh. It wasn't until they returned to the one true God that they found the Promised Land.

The walk never happened. there's no mention of it in the Egyptian archives and no archaeological evidence of thousands of people wandering the desert.
