Personally, I've noticed a habit of mine is that I will download and uninstall Tinder routinely, say every few months, and particularly when my S. O. and I are fighting a lot or are in a bad place, and I'm just super frustrated with her.

I am somewhat thinking, "Here are the other possibilities. Maybe they would not be so frustrating."

And sometimes I also get cocky and narcissistic like, "I'm worth so much. I bodybuild naturally, six pack, 5'11 close enough to '6, and I have a classy tech job in Cybersecurity, and I'm focused on infinite personal growth spiritually, mentally, physically, intellectually. I have ~~~ size, if you catch my drift. I'm giving. I do the housework on top of it, and I have a good mixture of feminine and masculine characteristics. I started going to therapy to get better, too, because I can get irritable. I'm soft when need be and hard when fun or needed. And, I constantly get better. What is she really bringing to offer that I can't find elsewhere?"

I know it's fucked up, but it's just in those moments when our relationship is super stressed. I always come back and fix it, and she always ends up open to conversing, going on 3 years.

We both love each other, but this pattern keeps playing itself out. We always fix what gets broken. We rupture, but we also repair, and I think long-term that's what relationships are all about: being able to repair.

Fundamentally though, I'm wondering at what level of "microcheating" or just how damaging my actions would be, and whether I need to work on changing that. I feel a bit guilty, but also not. To me, it seems just a bit more than looking around at other people in public. Like, hey, there's an attractive person I'm going to glance at for a moment.

So, in one of my works of writing, a superhero series, there's the city of Magna Harris, Maryland. It has about 3 million residents and is the hometown the superhero protagonist is from. In 2006, one of the city's other well-known main superheroes, Ninjette, gave her life fighting a villain, resulting in a huge explosion.

The tragedy was so depressing to the people of Magna Harris, that they reformed their entire city and put family, love, and protection, as the city's three tenets. The mayor at the time held a huge funeral procession for the fallen heroine and she even had a statue built in Ninjette's honor.

While the rest of America continued on as social media, corporatism, and political division started to divide the country apart, Magna Harris stayed strong. However, the political division and overall negativity of America in the 2010s gave the city a negative reputation due to its political neutrality, and it became known as "a place for alt-right bigots" according to the left, or "a place for whiny liberal snowflakes" according to the right. The city and its inhabitants kept to themselves however, and did nothing to try to change the rest of the country's image about them, leaving most people unaware of how Magna Harris operated.

Inside of the city, the economy was flourishing. Young people raised within the last twenty years have an average height of 6'2"/188 cm (if male) and 5'9"/176 cm (if female). They are also all in-shape and incredibly handsome/beautiful, according to outsiders. They are kind, caring, and highly educated people, but also well-trained in both self-defense and basic military combat, should another supervillain or threat ever arise in their city. Dating seems to be no problem for any decent man or woman, and families seem to be abundant in the city.

To live in Magna Harris, the only rule is to fully accept their way of life and reject the negativity of the place you came from. WOULD YOU LIVE IN SUCH A CITY?
