Guy's Behavior

My guy friend told me that I will find a nice guy, he knows I have a crush on him?

So, i have known this guy for a year and we have had mutual friends and i had developed feelings for him and he is a fuckboy, so although he definitely knew that i had a big crush on him recently he was leaving the country to study abroad and we met for the last time, but it was very weird he kept on telling me that i was a very different girl and i wasn't like the other girls at all and also said that i should never worry i will find a really nice guy out of the blue i don't know what to make sense of it coming from him. What does it actually mean?

We definitely have had a history where he kept on giving me mixed signals he's always been there for me but also kept some distance. We used to work together at a office and we would have a ball time together things really didn't quite workout for us because he always have had a big ego issue towards me, I don't know why but he has always kept his ego before anything but whatever he said while leaving made me overthink a lot as to coming from a person ge knows i have literally fell in love with and distanced myself from because it got endlessly toxic as i was alway just fighting with his ego I don't know what to feel
