So there's a speed dating event happening near where i live in a couple weeks and i may go ahead and try it out.

But in the meantime i may as well ask if people here have tried this and how your experience went? Also did you score any real dates while you did it? how far did those go?

For those that don't know how this works: Speed dating works by having participants engage in a series of short, timed conversations with different people, typically for 3 to 6 minutes each.
